...after they've knocked some sense into our heroic mushroom guy.

This is my version (and contest submission woo) for the 4 great heroes in Paper Mario : Thousand Year Door. The poor guys had a bad ending, but hey, at least they managed to save the world AM I RITE?

(Ages are to be taken lightly because I'm merely laughing at video game tendancies)
Champ - Mushroom (15) - Shy heroic mushroom from Petal Meadows. Obviously still doesn't understand how money works.
Kester - Koopa (18) - Scar Riddled who's seen more than his fair share of battles (even if he's only 18). (easter egg - Chain Chomp )
Bonnie - Boo (20) - cold-hearted Boo, who's heart melted by the mysterious scar-riddled Koopa. Fights with a staff (easter egg - the feathers)
Gini - Goomba (56) - super-smart Goomba with a MONOCLE.

So at first it was going to be just the characters...and well, you know what happens. EVERYTHING is modeled in Illustrator and then rendered in 3D studio Max. I did all of the textures by SCRATCH because, well it's not like Nintendo gives out those things anyway. I'll post individual images of the characters later because theres more details that you can miss.

I had no idea in what category to submit this. I wish Deviantart had a 'mix of two mediums' category because this is Illustrator and 3d Studio Max working together hand in hand to greate a 2.5D image. Grr.
